WeldWerks is an award winning brewery in Greeley Colorado that consistently puts out new and innovative beers every week! Their goal is to relentlessly pursue the creation of unique and innovative beer for every palate under the rainbow. With that in mind we set out to create a hot sauce using the same values! We chose to use their Medianoche Reserve with this hot sauce. Medianoche Reserve is a blend of Imperial Stouts aged in 8-9 year Bourbon barrels for 21 months, then aged with toasted coconut flakes, raw coconut chips, Ugandan vanilla beans, Belizean roasted cacao nibs from Cultura Craft Chocolate, and Ghanan roasted cacao nibs and husks from Nuance Chocolate. This beer has some serious body. We added a ton of dried peppers, coconut milk and coffee beans to create an unforgettable hot sauce. This sauce is perfect for any BBQ, amazing on grilled steaks and will spice up and add some deep roasty flavors to any curry!
